These are all the things I’ll be taking with me in a few months. I think it was more fun to draw this than to pack it. It looks better outside the bag.

Here’s my second attempt at a Excel/Pixel doodle. This one is of me holdin’ my fat baby belly. I think I’m going to do some portraits now! Of people I like! Slow days at work have never been so productive :D

We had some down-time this morning at work, but not really enough to get sketching, so I made a Totoro in Excel! This one is based off of this picture of Totoro. If we have any more down-time today, I’m definitely going to try making a few more (without reference pictures). This is my first one, and it was more enjoyable to do than I’d anticipated!
I hope you like it, interbutts!

I made a Chloe Noonan fanart thingie (I think it is my first fan art…thinger…) this weekend! Since Marc Ellerby’s drawings are colored in so much smoother than what I’m used to doing, I tried my hand at digital coloring. It turned out okay, but unfortunately I didn’t look at any tutorials first - otherwise I would have saved myself a few hours of work not doing it...

I love this phone (the person on the other end isn’t so bad, either).

The theme of the baby shower being thrown for me (by my mom-in-law and sister-in-law) is Godzilla (they know me so well), and it seems my nephew Alex has found out. If anyone wants to dedicate a picture to me either depicting me as Godzilla or drawing Godzilla/a monster/Bigfoot/awesomeness for me, they probably already hold a special place in my heart. I can’t wait for my BABBY to start...

Another older comic, this one about the onset of all the lovely seasonal effective stuff that happens to a lot of us in Wisconsin. Booooo.

Around December/January last winter, I pulled something in my neck (I got in an accident in high school, so it does that from time to time). It really did feel like I had hot fizzly fireworks shooting out of my neck. Buh.

Both of us have been attempting to talk to the baby, but we realized early on that it isn’t as natural as the movies make it out to be. It’s really awkward to hold a one-sided conversation with a bloated stomach. We still wanted it to get used to our voices, though, so we’ve been talking to it like this ever since.

These are my submissions for the Flickr group What I Wore Today (drawings only!). If you enjoy great illustrations, you should go to Gemma Correll’s website (she moderates the Flickr group) because it is awesome.

I’m serious! Hopefully now that I’m in the third trimester of “making stuff with my uterus” I’ll be able to post more (especially with that scanner coming in someday soon!). Keep your eyes peeled and I’ll keep working!

So I tried to use the scanner at work, and this is what I got. I’m not too upset, though, because fate is smiling upon me (actually, my fiance is), and there is a scanner being delivered to my house in the next two weeks. I am pretty much ecstatic about this, because I’ve been drawing like the dickens without a place to put any of it.

I’m over here trying to draw stuff and she’s busy distracting me with cuteness. What a jerk.

Hey! It’s one of those…post…thingies…
I am sooo long overdue for a post (sorry, guys!), only I don’t have a working scanner or access to one D:
I can, however, take a picture if I have one to take (doesn’t work for text/comics, but it certainly works for paintings with low gloss). This is the third and final painting for my eventual father-in-law (one of...
